Carpet Cleaning FAQs

How long will it take to clean my carpet?

On average, it will take approximately 10- 20 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how dirty the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.

Won’t water ruin my carpet?

Modern carpet technology is basically water resistant, and the limited amount of water used in our cleaning process is 95% removed by high powered truck mounted extraction. Our “Super Truck” Ultra-Premium process leaves the carpet virtually dry.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry?

Drying time of a carpet is regulated by humidity, air flow to the room and the type of carpet. Air conditioning or heat, depending on the time of year, will help speed the process. It typically takes between 4 and 8 hours to dry with our original cleaning trucks. Our “Super Truck” ultra-premium process dries carpets in 1 to 3  hours.

Should I vacuum my carpet before you clean?

NO! We do it for you. Most of our “all-inclusive”  packages include pre-vacuuming.

Why clean my carpet when I’ve heard that cleaning makes it soil faster?

Our natural cleaning products leave NO chemicals or residue on your carpet so it will not attract dirt. This problem refers to cleaning companies who use harsh soap or carbonated chemicals, which may leave a dirt-attracting residue, or dry cleaning methods, which leave oily powder solvent particles in your carpet to attract dirt. Our ultra-premium process uses reverse osmosis deionized filtered water so no detergents are in use or left behind. Fresh water rinsing available.

How long do I have to wait after cleaning to let my children or pets on the carpet?

The carpet may be walked on with clean feet or socks while wet. Since we use natural cleaning products or deionized water we leave absolutely NO residue on the carpet, thus it is safe to be on. Activity on the carpet should be limited to this foot traffic until the carpet is dry. We can also supply you with complimentary shoe covers upon request.

Do I need to move my furniture before Alpine arrives?

We do ask that you clear as many small pieces of furniture off the areas to be cleaned and we can help with sofas and lighter furniture. With our ultra-premium process and “ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGES” most all furniture is moved by our technician.

Do I have to be home while my carpet is being cleaned?

It is not necessary that you be home while your carpet is cleaned because our cleaning technicians are thoroughly trained and background checked professionals you can trust. In order to provide the best possible cleaning, we do recommend that someone is home before we begin cleaning to discuss any specific needs or areas of concern regarding the care of your carpet. If you won’t be around we do require a cell phone number that you can be reached on.

What should I do if the stains that were cleaned reappear?

Although most stains that are removed from carpet do not reappear, deep stains in carpet backing may wick back to the surface. If this happens, please give us a call for assistance. We guarantee a 5 star experience!
