What we clean

  • Supply ducts and registers
  • Return ducts and grilles
  • Trunk lines and plenums
  • The inside of the furnace or air handler: blower compartment, housing and accessible interior surfaces
  • The evaporator coil, with the CoilRenew™ option
  • The dryer vent, same visit, for $99.95

What we do not do

We do not repair, tune up, install or sell HVAC equipment, and we do not handle refrigerant or gas lines. If your system needs service, you need a licensed HVAC contractor. We are the cleaning company. A clean system is a good starting point for whatever service comes next.

How AirLux™ cleaning works

  1. Inspect. We look at the system, count the supply and return runs, and confirm the price before we start.
  2. Connect the truck. Our truck-mounted vacuum hooks up to the trunk line and puts the whole duct system under negative pressure, so loosened debris travels to the truck, not into your rooms.
  3. Agitate every run. Each supply and return is worked with compressed-air tools from the register back to the trunk. Registers and grilles come off and get cleaned.
  4. Clean the furnace or air handler. The blower compartment, housing and accessible interior surfaces are vacuumed and wiped down. CoilRenew™ coil cleaning is done here if you added it.
  5. Check and walk through. We reassemble everything, run the system, and walk it with you before we leave.

Common questions

Is this HVAC repair or maintenance?

No. We clean the duct system and the inside of the furnace or air handler. We do not repair, tune up, install or sell equipment. For that you need a licensed HVAC contractor.

How much does it cost?

From $474.95 for homes up to 1,500 sq ft, with the discount already applied. Larger homes and second systems are quoted before booking.

How long does it take?

Most single-system homes take 3 to 4 hours. Larger homes or homes with two systems take longer, and we tell you the expected time when you book.

How often should ducts be cleaned?

Every 2 to 3 years for most homes. Sooner after a remodel, a new pet, water damage, or if you see dust blowing from the registers.

Do you clean the coil?

Yes, with the CoilRenew™ option ($149.99). The coil sits inside the furnace or air handler and collects the dust that gets past the filter. Cleaning it restores airflow. We clean it; we do not service refrigerant.

Will there be a mess?

No. The system stays under negative pressure the whole time, so debris goes to the truck. We put down floor protection and clean the registers before we leave.
