Why people stay at Alpine

We are not a franchise. We are not run by private equity. Maurice Moe founded this company in 1969. His son Eric runs it today. Most of our supervisors and managers came up from technician and customer care roles, and we promote from inside first.

If you want to be a number, this is not the place. If you want a place where the owner knows your name, the work is consistent year round, and good performance gets noticed, keep reading.

Honest answers before you apply

If your question is not here, email [email protected].

Do I need experience to be a cleaning technician?
No. We pay you to learn. You get paid IICRC or NADCA certification, you start on a ride-along with a senior tech, and you work up to running your own truck. We have promoted helpers into lead-tech roles in under a year.
How is pay structured for technicians?
Base hourly rate plus performance bonus on every job that meets quality and revenue targets, plus upsell commission on legitimate add-ons. Top techs at Alpine clear six figures.
Do you drug test or background check?
Yes. Pre-employment drug test for safety sensitive roles and a background check for all hires. We do not test for marijuana in Washington except where law requires. Most background items are not disqualifying. Talk to us.
What hours do techs work?
Standard is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to roughly 5:00 PM, with rotating Saturday availability about every six weeks. Routes wrap up at the last job, not the clock.
What does the take-home truck mean?
Qualified techs are assigned a fully stocked Alpine truck to drive home. You commute from your driveway to your first stop, not from your house to the shop and then to the stop. Fuel, maintenance, and insurance are all on Alpine.
Do you hire bilingual or Spanish-speaking applicants?
Yes, and we encourage it. Several of our best crews are bilingual, and we serve plenty of Spanish-speaking customers across the Puget Sound and Maricopa County.
